The Silent Auction

This year at the Back to Business Trade show, we will be having silent auctions at most of the booths.

A Silent Auction is a simple and easy way to participate in the show, while supporting the Lakeshore Hospital Foundation.

Here’s how it works:

  • You will see a product, gift certificate or service up for auction at a booth
  • On a form, just in front of the item up for auction, you will see a starting bid or the most recent bid made for that item
  • To make a bid just write down the amount of your bid


It is important to take note of the bidding increment. For example if the bidding increment is 2$, the next bid up from $10 would be at least $12.

You need not only make bids at the incremental rate higher bids are acceptable.

Finally bidding is optional, however there are great products, gift certificates or services to be auctioned, so remember. . .
